WelcomeGreetings fellow students, I'd like to welcome you all to the North Carolina Public Health Association. Great things are expected to happen this year! The student section will seek to serve the needs of students throughout the state, so we encourage you to join NCPHA and take part. Over the course of the next few months, we will be recruiting new members, organizing our section, and even creating a student internship and we welcome your comments, suggestions, and ideas. Please feel free to email me at jlersek1@uncc.edu if you would like to join NCPHA, learn more about the student section, or offer ideas. The student section website up and running, so be sure to check back for message boards, opportunities, conference listings, and much, much more. Our next meeting will be March 27th, 2008 at the Marriott Hotel in Winton-Salem at 7:00pm. We welcome and encourage all students to attend. Thank you and I look forward to an exciting year!
